Arrival- 

I work in the basement level of a physical therapy clinic that rents space to multiple body workers. Sometimes there is a person working at the front desk to greet you when you arrive but more often than not the front door will be locked and I'll ask you send me a text when you arrive and I'll come up and let you in. I will let you know before you arrive which of these options to expect.

Bodywork Space-

Getting There:  To get to my space we will take one flight of stairs down to the basement level. The stairs have railings on both sides and with a landing about mid-way down.

Bathroom(s): There's a bathroom on the basement level. However, to be fully transparent, it has a narrow doorway, which leaves some people (myself included) feeling like they need to turn side-to in order to fit through without brushing against the frame. If this is bothersome to you, there is a bathroom with a standard size doorway on the main level of the building.

Massage Table: I have an electric table that lifts and lowers via a foot pedal.  The table is 73" long and 30" wide with a 550lbs lifting capacity.

Session-

All sessions will start with a brief chat about how you're feeling and what you hope to gain from our time together.  It is OKAY if you don't have answers to these questions. 

 

I do my best to make it a point to check in regularly regarding pressure, comfort, etc. but if you ever want/need something to change please say so. It's not uncommon to be a little nervous or uncomfortable asking for modifications such as more or less pressure, pillow/bolster adjustments, pausing to empty bladder, etc but know that you will not offend, annoy, of bother me with these requests.  My goal is that you are feeling comfortable, supported and have your needs met.
